Dig In Biography

Dig In is a Chicago based Pop/Soul, Bluesy Rock band with a high energy packed show! Through out their years of playing actively in the local music scene they have acquired a very talented line up of veteran musicians from former bands in Chicago, ranging from past members of Lonnie Brooks, Mr. Blotto, Freddy Jones Band, DeJa-Vu and Deluxury! Their sound is a mixture of both covers redone their own way and originals ranging from rock, soul, pop, blues, gospel with elements of funk.

Their own original songs literally drip with personality and feeling. They have re-spirited catchy melodies and vivid lyrics in which projects the way they look at the world around them. Their music showcases the diversity of their talent; from their catchy song-writing skills and soulful vocals of singer songwriter, Tammy Thomas to the intense guitar playing of guitarist, Thomas Yurik who also co-writes all their music on their latest self titled CD, Dig In.

“Dig In" also performs a lustrous compilation of material from both old and new artists, with their own stamp and style thrown into it. Compared to the music styles of Janis Joplin, Joss Stone, Aretha Franklin, The Neville Bros, Stevie Wonder and Hendrix.
